What is Ranger Kids?

Boys in Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 2nd Grade (approximately ages 5-7) participate in the Ranger Kids program. RANGER KIDS-the trail to fun and adventure—is an exciting program. Boys in this age group participate in great fun and excitement that will allow boys to develop their interests and needs as well as mold their character. Kindergarten thru 2nd Grade boys have lots of energy. We love the energy of these boys, so we plan fun interactive activities with the boys and also teach them key biblical stories and devotions. Check us out.

What do we do in Ranger Kids??

Weekly experiences and activities are enhanced through a specific advancement system designed to give the boys a sense of achievement and purpose. Through interactive learning and fun activities, Ranger Kids will grow and accomplish merits and achievements in four ways:

Physical:
Doing physical labor and/or activity promoting an event & learning more about it. Their bodies will grow strong with proper exercise and diet.

Spiritual Lessons:
Learning a spiritual lesson. This may happen through prayer, reading, or memorizing a Scripture passage, or going to church. Their spirits will grow strong through prayer, Bible study and witnessing.

Mental Activities:
Examples are, tell about something you did, show how to do something, or discussing something. Their minds will grow strong by reading, studying, and memorizing Scripture passages.

Social Interaction:
Interacting with peers and with adults in developing social skills. Examples are: speaking in front of a group, working on a project with others, etc...Their relationships with people will grow strong by learning how to treat them.

Advancement: GOLD TRAIL OF ACHIEVEMENT!!

The Ranger Kids Advancement Trail is based on the needs, interest and characteristics of boys in kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. The Trail is a plan of advancement through learning—from both experiences and activities—and being recognized for their learning. It is designed to offer every boy adventure and fun. The Trail is more than an interesting course of action; it is a new experience—a new achievement. It is a Ranger's opportunity to grow through new abilities, knowledge, and desires. The boys follow a well-designed three-year advancement trail that ends with their graduation to the Discovery Rangers program.
